shebazzle
I was once asked that very question, what is the deal with shebazzle? While shebazzle can mean a lot of things to a lot of people, especially as it continues to sweep through the land and strengthen and redefine itself, there is a core meaning and history to the word that will never be lost. So..who better to help guide, inform and enlighten you on the legend, the future, the word with no peers, shebazzle, than a few of the people it has touched in the past few years... After reading this page, you should be well schooled in the history and proper use of the word, and should be able to begin using it in your daily life.

Julie Bernstein, >30, Evanston, IL, spousal unit extraordinaire: Since I am married to the freak who has made it his lifetime mission to spread shebazzle across the universe, it has without question greatly impacted my life. I must, however, admit that I am humbled by the word and its creator, for there is no word with more possible uses. It's a noun, a verb, and easily converts into adjective and adverb alike. And how else would you describe the 2000 election other than... The Great American Shebazzle!!!!!! Marie Delean, old, Evanston, IL, The Bernstein's personal baker Shebazzle: can be a verb or a noun. Shebazzle: a shindig, event, party or social affair with some amount of half-assed organization ("come on over on Friday, we're having a wine tasting shebazzle"). A hassle, mess or sticky situation ("I went to the DMV to renew my driver's license, and it was quite the shebazzle"). To attempt to trick someone into something by engaging in manipulative, albeit charming, tactics ("I'm not going to see Gladiator VII, so stop trying to shebazzle me"). An overall description of something festive, glitter, fun, hyper, and celebratory ("Christmas is such a shebazzle, ya know?"). How shebazzle has affected my life: I wouldn't be here today without the word "shebazzle" . It has opened new vistas of comprehension and perspective to my otherwise limited view of the world. It has added a new realm of description, and therefore, existence, into my tiny, static vocabulary. It sets me apart from the rest of the otherwise ordinary population as I can use the word "shebazzle" at my discretion and know that it makes me look like a fancy-pants. Mike Hammer, very very old, Waukegan, IL, Hammster and Spellman impersonator SHEBAZZLE, the lexical opposite of STINK! The embodiment of all that is good, fun, and exciting. A term scintillating with good feelings. Were it not for SHEBAZZLE life would STINK. Mike Canter, >30, Evanston IL, HOBO (Andrew's note: if the writing style below resembles my own, this would probably have nothing to do with the fact that Mike likes to plagiarize and if it wasn't for this incredible skill of his, he's still be in the third grade and nowhere near the hobo he is today.) Andrew has asked me to "explain" shebazzle(R). I'm not exactly sure how to do this... Anybody with a f#$&%ng clue knows that shebazzle needs no explanation. It is a word, let me rephrase, it is THE word. You must embrace it, you must feel it, you must connect with it. Once you do this, it will flow out of you like a beagle sandwich. Whenever you need a word..whenever you need to express something that can't necessarily be put into words..this is where shebazzle comes in. I would like to claim Andrew to be the "inventor" or creator of such a fine word, but I think shebazzle has always been there for the using, he was just the first to connect with it. His ultimate goal is to someday be sitting on the beach in like Moscow sipping a frothy beverage with a cool drink in one hand, his wife's...umm... hand in the other and have like Hosken Powell walk down the aisle, fall down and say to Joe Carter "Man, why you shebazzlin' me?" Other uses for the word could include: This code is shebazzled! That freaking waiter at the IHOP is always trying to shebazzle me out of a sausage. Stop shebazzlin' the dip, some of us need moisture on our chips man! I hope this helps. Best regards, warmest salutations, large goiters, Michael W. Canter Need Site Directory?
