kids, hold on to your pants! cat update!
ziggy (left) is acting all spry and wacky the past few days (see! look! he's shed all over the area rug!) after his recent cortisone shot to help with his acne (allergies) has turned him into a goofy little kitten again....while...speaking of allergies...i (andrew) continue to be terribly allergic to maxwell (right), but that doesn't hurt our snuggle time in the chair much...now, his breath, that is another story....
All is well in the world of catdom, outside of trying to figure out how to teach Ziggy to groom Max so we don't have to go get his hairmats shaved again. They are still good friends and can often be found napping together. That is, when Ziggy isn't hanging around his new best friend, Alli... I'm really surprised at how well the adjustment has been, and that Max hasn't showed a single sign of aggression towards her (or anyone, for that matter), and also that Ziggy doesn't run from her in fear. I have actually caught her resting her head on him while he naps, and he usually makes it to her before anyone else when she is crying. Max doesn't hang out too much for her shenanigans, but he's more than happy to get loving from the rest of us. It's hard to believe he was a stray.
